SH American Samoa hosted Street Handball Nationals Championship

2021 Street Handball Nationals Flag Day Championships. Playoff game 1 (Blue and White team) photos between The Wolves and The 300. The 300 played tough as always but the Wolves, behind the scoring of Dianne Loe and a tough defense led by Amelie Chen and Goal Keeper Jason Magele was just beastly helping The Wolves win in two halfs 2-0.

Adapting the rules from street handball, which stipulate no physical contact, no dribbling, with a maximum of three steps and the goalkeeper taking part in attack, players enjoyed a plethora of competitive games, returning to their peak after a lengthy lay-off period.

Pics from game 2 (black and gray team), Malosi vs The Mighty Lupe for the right to advance to the 2021 Street Handball National Flag Day Championship finals. The game was tough and very close but the combined scoring of Memory Viliamu and Star Chan, (11) points each was enough to overcome the defensive efforts of Jason Bai and Misa Si’ilima. Ula Fale was high scorer for The Mighty Lupe who lost in two sets 2-0 to see Malosi advance to play The Wolves in the finals.

Game 3 (White and black team)of the 2021 Street Handball Nationals Flag Day was a battle for 3rd place between The 300 and The Mighty Lupe. The 300 were able to rally behind the scoring of Maea Loe, Joey Sagapolu and Tupu Seui to control both halves for the suprise win.
